I was supposed to read
Kindle: How to Fall in Love by Celia Ahern
Paperback: Deja Dead by Kathy Reichs
I read Deja Dead which I mostly enjoyed. Once I got over the fact that the only similarity between the main character in the books and and in the TV show Bones is her name and job I found it easier to read.
However as Kathy Reichs really is a forensics anthropologist I found some parts of the book read like a report and was hard to get through. I hoping that its first book niggles and that it isn't the same in all the other as I have 9 more to read (damn you BookPeople and your bargains).
I am half way through How to Fall in Love so I am going to going to finish that this month, hopefully this week.
For my second book I have chosen The Little Coffee Shop of Kabul as I have heard good things about it.
I got it out of the library as I am trying to make sure we use it more. I am really concerned that smaller libraries are going so I am using it so we don't lose it. Both my girls love a visit to the library.
I think one and half books is realistic as I am also crochet Easter gifts for the girls and their cousins.
One book is just fine! I hope that you get more reading time this month. x
ReplyDeleteI read two in February but this month I'm failing as I've only just finished March's read. I've always fancied reading Deja Dead as I love the Bones TV show but it sounds as if it may be a little heavy going in places.
